Threading is an ancient method of hair removal originating in the East but is becoming more popular in Western Countries due to its effectiveness and how hygienic the treatment is. I offer threading in a tranquil treatment room without an entire town centre as an audience inside a shopping centre. Removal of facial hair can be an extremely personal matter and I aim to make my Clients as comfortable and at ease as possible.

How does threading work?
A cotton thread is rolled along the area of unwanted hair, gripping the hair and twisting it along the thread to trap it and lift it out of the follicle.

How long does threading last?
How long is a piece of string? I would recommend a treatment every 2 – 4 weeks depending on how quickly your hair grows, everybody is totally different. Temporary results can turn into permanent results with regular maintenance. Over time, the hair follicle will become damaged due to the threading and hair will cease growing or slow down completely.

Will it be effective for me?
Anybody with facial hair, whether it be unruly eyebrows or hair on your upper lip, threading will work for you. It is a precise method of hair removal creating even brows and catches even the shortest and fairest of hairs.

What areas can be threaded?
Threading is recommended for small areas of hair on the face:
Eyebrows, Upper lip, Chin, Neck, Sides, Forehead

Do I need a patch test?
No, threading does not use any chemicals on the skin meaning that anybody can have a threading treatment. We can determine during your consultation whether you have any allergies and what would be best to use to soothe the skin at the end of your treatment.
